About David Monroy
David has over thirty-seven years of experience and training in a broad range of areas of law, including business, real estate, corporate law (for profit and non-profits), transactions, banking, bankruptcy, and litigation. He is a former partner at one of Hawaii’s top law firms, and now operates his own law office in Elk River, Minnesota. He serves as corporate counsel for several clients and also serves as Vice President and General Counsel for Rivers International and Ripka Enterprises based in Elk River.
David currently serves as an adjunct instructor at Northwestern College and Minnesota School of Business; and since 1995 has also been a speaker, teacher, pastor, and deeply involved in ministry in US and international venues. David is a former Foursquare licensed minister and co-leader of Transformation Hawaii, and is now part of the Pray Elk River transformation movement as a member of the Pray Elk River Servant Leadership Team, and co-leader for the Pray Elk River Business Roundtable.
He also has extensive service as a board member for a number of non-profit and for profit organizations. He currently serves on the respective boards for Three Rivers Community Foundation, Rivers International, Ripka Enterprises, and Deep Well, Inc. dba Crash+Sues.
